A substantial late Victorian or Edwardian overmantel mirror, likely originally the upper section of a large sideboard, constructed from dark-stained wood, potentially mahogany or walnut. The piece features an architectural frame in the Aesthetic Movement style, centred on a large arched mirror plate flanked by two smaller rectangular mirrors. The structure incorporates several tiered display shelves supported by delicate turned spindles. The pediment and side panels are decorated with foliate and scrollwork marquetry inlays in a contrasting lighter wood. The top is finished with a moulded cornice and decorative turned finials. The item is currently resting on a non-contemporary base.
