It is fitted with a standard handle and a hinged pewter lid with a thumbpiece. The second item is a large ovoid ceramic jar, constructed from a red-toned earthenware or stoneware with a dark brown matte glaze. The decoration includes a band of incised wavy lines at the shoulder and deep relief-carved panels depicting stylized organic and foliate motifs across the body. The third item is a cylindrical pewter tankard with a slightly flared base and a flat hinged lid. It possesses a C-scroll handle with a decorative scrolled and perforated thumbpiece.
