The figure is depicted wearing long white opera gloves and holding a wide-brimmed white hat against her skirt. Her dark hair is styled in an updo. The base features a green printed factory backstamp including a lion passant atop a crown and a circular Royal Doulton emblem. Printed inscriptions on the base include Winsome, HN 2220, COPR 1953, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, and four registration numbers: Rd No 892068, Rd No 39012, Rd No 8185, and Rd No 14/59. A small hand-painted green decorator’s mark and an incised rectangular mark are present on the underside.
