This vintage wall-mounted rack features a trio of taxidermy deer feet, likely Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), fashioned into functional hooks. The specimens have been preserved and set with a 90-degree bend at the joint, with the cloven hooves extending forward. Each leg is finished with a ribbed metal ferrule where it joins the mounting board. The plaque is constructed from dark-stained wood with a decoratively scalloped edge. A small, secondary metal screw hook is positioned on the right-hand side of the base. This style of taxidermy is characteristic of mid-20th-century European hunting decor, commonly utilised as coat or gun racks.
