A trio of mid-20th-century wooden slide storage boxes containing an assortment of 35mm photographic transparencies. Each box is constructed from a light-coloured wood with visible finger-jointed corners and is fitted with brass-toned metal flip latches and hinges. One box is shown open, revealing a collection of slides in plastic mounts. The interior of the lid for this box features a comprehensive handwritten paper index sheet with entries in blue and black ink, including descriptions such as Castle, Reception, Dining Room, and Tower.
The transparencies are housed in various plastic mounts, including blue mounts embossed with the Agfacolor brand name and white and orange mounts featuring the Agfa diamond-shaped logo. A small circular white adhesive label is located below the latch of the lower-left box, bearing a handwritten character.
