This collection of Edwardian dressing table appointments consists of a rectangular trinket box with a cut glass base and a group of three circular sterling silver lids. The rectangular box features a sterling silver lid decorated with repousse scrolling foliage and floral motifs surrounding a central plain reserve. The three circular lids, likely originally from dressing table jars or powder boxes, are decorated in high relief with the Reynolds Angels motif after Sir Joshua Reynolds. One of the circular lids features a silver-gilt interior. The glass base of the rectangular box is decorated with a diamond-cut pattern. All silver elements bear a matching set of British hallmarks.
Hallmarks: W.C for William Comyns and Sons; Anchor for Birmingham; Lion Passant for .925 sterling silver; lowercase date letter a for the year 1900.
Weight: No scale is present to determine the weight of the silver.
