This is a static display model of a Schools Class (Class V) 4-4-0 steam locomotive and tender, finished in Southern Railway green livery with yellow lining and lettering. The locomotive carries the running number 928 and the name Stowe. Based on visual characteristics and web consensus, this item is attributed to Amercom and was issued as part of a series of collectible partwork models. The model is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and is non-motorised. It is mounted on a black plastic display plinth featuring a section of track and a descriptive plaque printed with 1934: Class V No. 928 Stowe and a Union Jack icon. The piece is housed in its original clear plastic blister packaging.
