This lot consists of two pieces of decorative art glass. The first item is a bulbous vase with a widely flared, undulating rim, produced by Mtarfa Glassblowers of Malta. It features a mottled splatter pattern of dark brown and black tones against an opaque white ground. A circular black and silver paper label is present on the body, depicting a glassblower graphic and the text Mtarfa Glassblowers Malta. The second item is a tall, slender cylindrical chimney vase fashioned from deep amethyst-coloured glass. It features a thick, clear, weighted base characteristic of mid-century modern design. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the amethyst vase.
