This lot comprises an assortment of vintage woodworking hand tools, primarily dating from the 19th to early 20th century. The collection includes several wooden moulding planes of varying profiles, such as beads and ovolos, alongside a larger wooden block plane. It also features multiple wooden marking and mortise gauges, notably one gauge stamped with the maker’s mark J. BATTIE for Joseph Battie of Sheffield. A red plastic container holds a quantity of loose steel plane irons and wooden wedges. Also included is a set of plastic French curve templates. The tools are constructed from beech wood with steel blades and brass adjustments.
