A mid-century modern peacock chair constructed from vertically aligned pencil reeds bound together with woven cord. The chair features a bucket-shaped seat with a high, flared back, supported by a tapered conical pedestal base made from conforming vertical reed sections. The top edges of the back and seat are finished with a padded black vinyl binding, secured with visible white contrast stitching.
