A pair of antique George V dressing table or perfume bottles of flattened, elliptical form. The bodies are crafted from clear cut glass and feature deep-cut geometric patterns, including central starburst motifs and vertical fluting, finished with star-cut bases. Each bottle is fitted with a plain, polished sterling silver collar and a matching circular cap. The silver mounts are struck with a full set of British hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office. Based on the maker’s mark and provenance, the silver is attributed to the manufacturing silversmiths Robert Pringle and Sons.
