A collection of decorative cranberry glass items, featuring deep ruby red bodies with applied clear glass ornamentation. The collection includes a circular lidded candy dish or bowl with an applied clear glass ruffled rim and five clear glass shell-shaped feet. The matching lid is finished with a clear glass ball finial. Also included is a small open bowl with a matching red body and a heavily crimped clear glass rim. The collection further comprises a pair of boot-shaped ornaments or vases, each featuring an applied clear glass ruffled collar around the top rim and a large, detailed clear glass floral rosette applied to the front of the foot. These pieces exhibit characteristic Victorian glass-making techniques including hand-blowing and hand-applied rigaree and supports. A handwritten mark in black ink is present on the base of the small crimped bowl.
