A large mid-century modern floor-standing art glass vase, featuring a distinctive marbled or onyx-style decoration. The pattern consists of dense, vertical linear streaks of white and charcoal grey embedded within a clear glass body. The form is characterised by a long, slender tapering cylindrical neck that rises from a thick-walled, flared circular base and terminates in a slightly out-turned, fire-polished rim. This style of glass was produced by several European makers during the 1950s and 1960s, including UK-based Nazeing and various Murano glassworks in Italy. The item bears an auction lot sticker numbered 0334. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
