A Scottish leather dress sporran of the pattern worn by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys). The sporran is constructed from black leather with a semi-circular white metal cantle featuring embossed Celtic interlace and knotwork patterns and a central push-button clasp. The main body of the pouch is decorated with five leather tassels, each terminating in a white metal stud. At the centre is a circular leather boss applied with a gilt metal badge depicting the Prince of Wales’s feathers emerging from a coronet above a ribbon. The ribbon is inscribed with the motto ICH DIEN. The item is accompanied by an adjustable black leather sporran strap with a white metal buckle.
