A collection of static display model steam locomotives and tenders, produced for the Great British Locomotives part-work series and attributed to Amercom. The models are constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic components, presented in 1:76 scale. Each locomotive is mounted on a textured black plastic display track base within its original clear plastic protective blister packaging.
The collection features the following models:
– GWR Churchward 2800 Class heavy freight locomotive, numbered 2861, in black livery.
– GWR City Class No. 3440 City of Truro in green and reddish-brown livery, featuring a nameplate on the driving wheel splasher and GWR-style cresting on the tender.
– LNER Class V2 2-6-2 No. 4771 Green Arrow in LNER apple green livery with L N E R markings on the tender.
– LNER Class A4 No. 4468 Mallard in LNER garter blue livery, featuring the world record holder nameplate and L N E R tender markings.
Each display base features a printed label identifying the year of introduction, the locomotive class, and the specific engine name or number where applicable. These are static models intended for display purposes and do not contain internal motors.
