A collection of four hand-painted porcelain figurines produced in the Italian Capodimonte tradition. The group includes four distinct subjects: an elderly watchmaker seated at a three-drawer chest using a loupe, a seated woman peeling an apple into her lap with a white cat at her feet, a cobbler working on a shoe with a white cat at his side, and a group of three boys playing cards around a rustic table. The figures are realistically modelled and decorated with a multi-coloured palette. Each figurine is set upon a white base featuring gold-toned scrollwork decoration. Each piece displays a gold-painted factory mark consisting of a five-pointed crown over a capital N to the front of the base.
