A mid-20th-century earthenware vase of baluster form featuring a flared rim and a tapered foot. The exterior is decorated with a textured, mottled glaze exhibiting a speckled appearance in shades of cream, taupe, and dark brown. The rim and the base of the foot are finished in a solid dark brown glaze. This style is characteristic of West German ceramic production from the 1950s to the 1970s. The underside of the base features the incised form number 599-22 and the origin mark W. GERMANY.
