A mid-century modern side chair, attributed to the Czechoslovakian manufacturer Jitona and dating from the 1960s. The piece features a tall, straight backrest and a padded seat, both fully upholstered in a textured terracotta-coloured woven fabric. The chair is raised on four dark-stained hardwood legs of circular section, which exhibit a tapered profile characteristic of the period. The overall form reflects the functionalist design principles prevalent in Eastern Europe during the mid-20th century. No manufacturer labels or marks are present on the chair.
