A mid-century modern storage cabinet and display bookcase, likely of British manufacture, dating from the 1960s. The single-piece unit is constructed with a medium-toned teak veneer over a manufactured wood core. The left-hand section features a solid hinged door with a circular turned wooden pull knob, opening to an interior fitted with two adjustable wooden shelves. The right-hand section is designed for display, containing two clear sliding glass doors and two adjustable wooden shelves. The entire unit sits on a recessed plinth base. While similar in form to designs by makers such as Gibbs Furniture or B&S Goodman, no manufacturer’s labels or marks are present.
