An assortment of contemporary United Kingdom Scouting and Girl Guiding embroidered cloth badges and patches, dating from the late 20th to early 21st century. The collection is housed in a simple rectangular grey metal storage tin with a hinged lid. The patches represent a variety of commemorative events, units, and proficiency awards. Notable items include a large blue rectangular patch commemorating the 2007 Centenary of Scouting inscribed One World One Promise, and a rectangular patch for the United Kingdom Contingent 15th World Scout Moot Iceland 2017 featuring a puffin illustration. Further visible patches include a Union Jack design with the text Scouts and Guides are Ambassadors of Peace and Fellowship among the Nations of World, a small navy blue square patch with a gold-toned embroidered anchor for Sea Scouts, and a red rectangular patch dated 2003. The collection also contains various fleur-de-lis symbols, regional emblems, and event fragments. Several badges are preserved within individual clear plastic sleeves.
