This lot comprises two items of decorative art glass from the mid-to-late 20th century. The first is a slender, hand-blown bud vase featuring a deep amethyst-coloured internal core submerged within a thick layer of clear glass, utilising the sommerso technique. The tapered form and weighted base are characteristic of Swedish glass design, attributed to makers such as Aseda or Nils Landberg. The second item is a bulbous, hand-blown vase with a short neck and a wide, flared rim, decorated with an opaque white mottled or spatter effect. This vase bears a black and white circular label for Mtarfa Glassblowers, Malta, featuring a central graphic of a glassblower.
