Also present is a small wooden-handled tool, possibly a scribe or chisel, along with several loose wooden wedges and components. One of the larger planes is clearly stamped with the maker name B. CHATFIELD on the heel, attributed to the 19th-century London plane maker Benjamin Chatfield. Another plane exhibits a partial stamp ending in FIELD. The tool bodies are constructed from wood, likely beech, with steel irons and blades. The marking gauge features brass adjustment components. The box bears a lot sticker numbered 0336.
