A hand-blown glass jug featuring a bulbous lower body tapering to a tall cylindrical neck and a thickened, rolled rim. The vessel is constructed from translucent amber glass with dense, internal brown and golden-amber mottling throughout. A single ‘C’ shaped handle is applied to the neck. Both the rim and the handle exhibit a metallic iridescent lustre finish, displaying shifting purple, gold, and blue highlights. The form and decorative technique are characteristic of the Art Nouveau period, specifically resembling glass produced by Bohemian glassworks such as Kralik or Loetz, as well as certain English makers like Stevens and Williams. There are no visible maker marks or signatures on the piece.
