An Art Deco style cocktail cabinet of single-piece construction, attributed to Hubbinet and dating from the mid-20th century. The exterior is finished in figured walnut and burr walnut veneers, featuring distinctive curved cloud shoulders. The upper section incorporates a synchronised opening mechanism where raising the top lid automatically lowers the fall-front to reveal a pale wood-lined interior, possibly sycamore. This interior is fitted with a centrally mounted chrome-plated citrus squeezer, two racks containing cocktail sticks with coloured glass bead tops, and polished metal gallery rails for securing bottles and glassware. The lower portion consists of a two-door cupboard opening to a mirrored interior with a glass shelf. The cabinet retains its decorative embossed circular metal handles with foliate designs.
