A collection of Poole Pottery Twintone ceramic tableware in the Sepia and Mushroom colourway, pattern code C54. This earthenware service features a dual-colour glaze scheme with matte mushroom-brown interiors and off-white or cream exteriors. The collection includes a tall lidded coffee pot, a lidded hot water or chocolate jug, a large open pitcher, graduated creamers, a sauce boat, open serving and sugar bowls, and several cups with matching saucers. The pieces exhibit the streamlined, sculptural forms characteristic of mid-20th-century British industrial design. The bases bear a blue-grey printed mark within an oval border featuring the word POOLE above a stylized dolphin device and ENGLAND below, with the alphanumeric code C54.
