A sixteen piece Carlton Ware ceramic tea and coffee service in the Orbit pattern, produced in England. This mid-century modern service is crafted from glazed earthenware and features a two-tone colour scheme with a glossy charcoal grey exterior and white interior. The design is characterised by cylindrical forms, a recessed band detail near the bases, and white cylindrical finials on the lids. The service includes a lidded coffee pot, a lidded teapot, six coffee cups, six matching saucers, a cream jug, and an open sugar bowl. Each piece is marked on the underside with a black printed Carlton Ware script mark, including Made in England and Trade Mark. An incised model number 2742 is also visible on the base.
