A contemporary table lamp base of metal construction with an antiqued brass-toned finish. The design features a central vertical support rod surrounded by an openwork cage of multiple spiralling metal bands. The stem rises from a circular, stepped, and weighted base. The lamp is fitted with a white plastic bulb socket and a white electrical lead with a standard United Kingdom three-pin plug. No maker’s marks are visible. A small adhesive inventory label marked 22 is present on the neck.
