An English occasional side table or plant stand constructed from solid quartersawn oak with a dark stained finish. The table features a trefoil or cloverleaf-shaped top with a deep moulded edge, displaying prominent medullary rays within the wood grain. The base consists of three turned and fluted legs terminating in block feet, which are connected by a T-shaped stretcher. A decorative carved triangular boss is situated at the central junction of the stretcher, featuring a stylised geometric motif with a semi-circular arc and radiating lines. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
