A Victorian style arched overmantel mirror, constructed with a shaped frame typical of British furniture from the late 19th or early 20th century. The frame is finished in gilt paint, likely over a wood and gesso base. It features scrolled shoulders and is decorated with carved foliate and scroll motifs at the lower outer corners. The flat base is designed for placement on a mantelpiece. The mirror plate is recessed within the moulded border.
