A mid-century modern teak and teak-veneered highboard, dating from approximately the 1970s. The unit is designed with an asymmetrical upper section featuring a fall-front cupboard with a louvred door panel to the left and a double-tiered open shelving unit to the right. The lower base comprises two central drawers flanked by two cupboards, each fitted with a louvred door. The cupboard doors are equipped with dark metal ring pull handles, while the drawers feature integrated recessed pulls. The piece is supported by four square-tapered wooden legs. The louvred design is characteristic of British furniture manufacturers from this era, specifically the Scandinavian-influenced ranges produced by companies such as Nathan Furniture. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the exterior of the piece.
