A pair of late 20th-century bamboo and wicker bedside cabinets, each featuring a single drawer over an open storage compartment. The construction consists of a light-coloured bamboo pole framework with distinctive curvilinear decorative corners to the top surfaces. The top panels, drawer fronts, and side panels are inset with woven wicker panels stained in a greyish-blue hue. The drawer pulls are formed from small sections of bamboo. A decorative cross-hatched wicker lattice adorns the lower front edge of each piece. The pieces are constructed using bamboo poles joined with binding, characteristic of the period.
