A set of four mid-to-late 19th-century Victorian mahogany dining chairs. Each chair features an open oval balloon back decorated with hand-carved scrolling foliate motifs at the crest and the base of the backrest. The chairs have shaped seats upholstered in a light sage green textured fabric, finished with a matching decorative braid trim. The frames are supported by cabriole front legs and square-section splayed rear legs. No maker marks are visible. A small white auction lot label bearing the printed digits 108 is present on one seat cushion.
