Description
A mid-century modern drop-leaf dining table, dating from approximately the 1960s or 1970s. The construction features a wood-grain effect laminate or veneer surface over a composite core, set upon a solid wood base. The table is supported by four tapered legs, with two legs integrated into a gate-leg mechanism that swings out to support the two drop leaves. When fully extended, the tabletop forms a rectangular shape with rounded corners. The design is characteristic of British mid-century furniture production,
