Description
A mid-century modern extending kitchen table dating to the circa 1960s. The piece features a pale blue Formica laminate top set upon a wooden frame. It is constructed with a draw-leaf mechanism, incorporating two extension leaves that slide out from beneath the central square top. When fully extended, the table transitions from a square profile to a rectangular form with slightly curved outer edges. The structure is supported by four square-section tapered wooden legs, likely constructed from beech or a similar hardwood.
