Description
A mid-century modern teak-veneered sideboard from the Librenza range by G-Plan, manufactured by E. Gomme, circa 1960s. The unit features an asymmetric front configuration with angled side panels. The upper section is fitted with a wide, shallow drawer to the left and a fall-front drinks cabinet to the right. The central compartment contains two black ebonised sliding doors. The lower section comprises two drawers, including one long drawer to the left and a smaller single drawer to the right. The piece is constructed with teak veneers over a secondary carcass and is fitted with original gilt-metal U-shaped loop handles. It stands on four tapered, black-painted wooden legs, each terminating in a brass-tone metal ferrule. No maker marks or labels are visible on the exterior or interior sections.
