Description
A mid-century modern coffee table, circa 1960s-1970s, constructed with a teak-veneered rectangular frame and four solid teak square-tapering legs. The tabletop features a large inset decorative panel depicting a stylized procession of figures and traditional motifs in the manner of Senufo Korhogo mud cloth from Cote d’Ivoire. The graphic design is rendered in a palette of black, white, and ochre against a cream-coloured ground. The imagery includes anthropomorphic figures in profile and geometric border patterns. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces of the piece.
