Description
A mid-century modern coffee table of rectangular form, constructed from teak and teak-toned hardwood. The top is finished in teak veneer and features a recessed shadow gap detail along the apron. The piece is supported by four square-section tapered legs which meet the frame with mitred joinery. The design is characteristic of Scandinavian modern furniture from the 1960s and 1970s, sharing stylistic similarities with works by manufacturers such as Heggen of Norway. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the piece.
