Description
A mid-century modern two-section storage unit attributed to the British manufacturer Nathan Furniture, specifically from the Squares range. The piece is constructed with teak-faced veneers over a composite wood core. The upper section features a decorative top frieze with six recessed rectangular panels above two shelves, providing three open storage compartments. The upper shelf is adjustable with visible peg holes on the interior side panels. The lower section consists of a cupboard base with two hinged doors, each featuring a raised-moulding frame with rounded corners, a signature design element of this range. The unit is modular, comprising two separate stacking sections for ease of transport. This is an open-fronted unit with no glazing. No maker marks or labels are visible on the surfaces.
