Description
A pair of 20th-century carver-style dining chairs in the Regency taste. The frames are finished in a dark reddish-brown mahogany stain. Each chair features a broad, curved top rail positioned above a central splat decorated with a pierced and carved circular motif. The chairs are designed with scrolled arms on square-section supports and are raised on square legs joined by H-form stretchers. Both chairs are fitted with removable, tie-on cream-coloured fabric seat cushions finished with decorative tassels at each corner. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the frames or cushions.
