Description
A collection of decorative objects and paper ephemera. The group includes a cast brass double inkwell in the Art Nouveau style, featuring a pierced foliate backplate, two lidded ink pots, and integral pen rests. Accompanying this is a brass jug with embossed tavern scenes and a wooden stave-constructed barrel with metal bands and a blank shield cartouche, likely intended as a biscuit barrel or ice bucket. The lot also contains a small wooden three-drawer chest with a hand-painted floral lid. Paper items consist of a boxed The Motor Car Card Game (No. 3), dated 1908 and 1963, and a group of Fighting Men of World War II trading cards. No manufacturer marks are visible on the metal or wooden components.
