Description
A four tier corner etagere or whatnot constructed in the late Victorian Aesthetic Movement style. The frame is composed of bamboo poles featuring visible nodes and bound joints. The back panels are decorated with a geometric lattice or trellis design made from slender bamboo strips. It contains four fixed, quarter circle shelves made of stained wood. The unit is designed for corner placement and features an open fronted, single piece construction. No maker marks or stamps are present on the frame or shelving. A small plain white circular sticker is present on the middle shelf.
