Description
A group of two vintage sports items. The first is a wooden cricket bat of the Universal Driver pattern, constructed from compressed willow. The reverse of the blade is stamped with several marks including Treble Spring, Well Balanced, Compressed, Willow, and Universal Driver. The face of the bat features a faint brand mark with the word Selected positioned between horizontal lines. The bat is fitted with a textured handle grip and the upper portion of the blade is bound in dark tape. The second item is a wooden golf marshal paddle sign. The design features a red upper section depicting the Claret Jug trophy above large blue block lettering reading QUIET Please on a yellow background, terminating in a white painted handle.
