Description
A figural mantel clock constructed from an off-white matte composite material, possibly resin or cast mineral-filled plastic. The case is designed in a Neo-classical revival style, featuring a sculptural group of a courting couple in 18th-century dress flanking a central plinth. A basket of flowers is positioned between the figures. The clock houses a small quartz insert movement with a polished gold-tone bezel. The white dial is printed with black Roman numerals and an ornate central decorative motif, with decorative gold-toned hands. No maker’s marks or signatures are present on the dial or body.
