Description
A collection of Poole Pottery earthenware tableware from the Twintone range, featuring the Sepia and Mushroom (C54) colourway. The pieces are finished with matte glazes, characterised by Mushroom cream exteriors and contrasting Sepia dark brown interiors. The set includes a tall coffee pot with a fitted lid, a smaller lidded jug with a lid, a large open milk jug, two graduated cream jugs, a sauce boat, an open sugar bowl, several cups of varying sizes, and a stack of matching saucers. The base of the pieces features a printed blue factory mark comprising the word POOLE above a central dolphin logo and ENGLAND below. The alphanumeric code C54 is stamped underneath the primary mark, identifying the specific glaze combination. This range was manufactured in Poole, Dorset, England.
