Lot 282:
Description
A set of ten vintage clear pressed glass cups, attributed to Anchor Hocking in the Star of David pattern. These items are manufactured from clear soda-lime glass using a mechanical pressing process. The decorative scheme features a repeating moulded pattern of a large multi-point starburst motif flanked by diagonal fan-like sprays. Each cup is formed with a rounded, slightly flared body and includes a single integral loop handle. The base of each vessel is finished with a smaller, central moulded star pattern. No maker marks, signatures, or factory stamps are present on the bodies or bases of the items. This pattern is characteristic of mid-20th-century domestic glassware.
