Description
This sculptural reproduction depicts the head of the Horse of Selene, modelled after the original 5th-century BC Ancient Greek marble from the Parthenon. The piece is cast in plaster or a fine composite resin, featuring a matte, off-white finish intended to mimic the appearance of weathered stone. The sculpture is presented on an integrated, roughly-textured rectangular plinth. No maker’s marks, signatures, or edition numbers are visible on the exterior of the casting.
