Description
A late 20th-century decorative advertising mirror for Cadillac automobiles, featuring graphics in the Art Deco style of the 1930s. The mirror plate is reverse-printed with a central illustration of a vintage coupe in blue and orange livery. The design is flanked by monochrome line-art scenes depicting figures in period evening attire amongst floral motifs. The display incorporates official Cadillac branding, including the crest and crown logo, the slogan Standard of the World, and the phrase A man is known by his automobile. A stylized V motif to the right contains the numbers 8, 12, and 16, denoting the engine configurations offered by the manufacturer during the interwar period. The glass plate is set within a dark brown moulded wooden frame with a visible grain.
