Description
A large-scale rectangular wall mirror of contemporary manufacture, produced in a traditional style. The frame is constructed from wood or composite material with a gilt-effect finish. The frame profile features a broad, plain outer bevelled section transitioning to an inner decorative border. This inner border displays an embossed, repeating interlaced knot-work motif. The mirror plate is bevelled and remains securely set within the frame. No maker’s marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the front or edges of the frame. The scale of the piece allows for wall-mounting in either landscape or portrait orientation, or for use as a floor-standing mirror.
