Description
A mid-century modern chest of drawers manufactured by the British firm Harris Lebus. The piece is constructed with oak veneers and features four full-width drawers. A distinctive design element includes a darker contrasting horizontal band of veneer positioned between the second and third drawers. The unit is supported by four short tapered legs and includes a small raised gallery rail at the rear of the top surface. Each drawer is fitted with two original turned circular wooden pull knobs. The drawer interiors are constructed from a light-coloured secondary wood. A hexagonal paper label is present in one drawer interior featuring the LEBUS brand name and the word Guaranteed on a gold-coloured background.
