Description
A British mid-century modern teak highboard, circa 1960s, attributed to Jentique. The piece is constructed from teak and teak veneer with an asymmetric configuration. The upper section contains a fall-front cocktail cabinet to the left and twin sliding doors to the right, opening to reveal internal storage, with a full-width open display shelf below. The lower section features a bank of three drawers to the left and a double-door cupboard to the right. The unit is characterised by a tapered, bowed side profile and is fitted with original inset carved wooden smile handles. It stands on four turned, tapered legs joined by a simple stretcher base.
